Where do I go from there? Once your organization has decided to become involved, determine a primary contact person who will work directly with someone from the WEB Recognition and Awards Program.

How is “sustainability” measured?  Through an interview (or series of interviews), Sustainable Seattle will work with your organization to establish areas of success, as well as determine areas that could use improvement

How can my sustainability efforts grow?  Sustainable Seattle can work with your organization to connect you with our STARs program classes and other organizations in your community that are also dedicated to these efforts.

When are awards given out?  Our Awards Ceremony is typically held annually in December

What is the cost?  There is a sliding scale for the evaluation and continuing participation depending on the size of your organization.  Fewer than 25: $100, 26-50: $150, 51-100: $200, 101-200: $250, 201 and more: $300     Sponsorships may be possible

What are the benefits to my organization in participating?  Sustainable practices make for more sustainable businesses.  Well taken care of employees work harder and more effectively, communities support the organizations that support them.   Network with other organizations within your area to help take care of the Pacific Northwest.  Sustainable practices can make your business more successful.
