WHAT WE DO:  The Whole Environment Building (WEB) Program is a tool for local businesses to assess their sustainability efforts.  The unique “whole environment” approach looks at sustainability across four levels: the natural world, the built environment, community engagement and personal wellness.  The program is designed to help businesses operate more cost effectively, while increasing their involvement within the Seattle community.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it to schedule an assessment.  The interview process takes approximately 2.5 hours and supplies the business with a starting point analysis of sustainability efforts.  Assistance in areas of improvement, potential partnerships with other organizations, and an internal newsletter are all a part of the results of the initial analysis.  Sustainable Seattle will also provide year-round learning opportunities through our Training program as well as a follow-up assessment the next calendar year.
