RiSE (Resilience, Sustainability & Equity) specializes in resilience building at a neighborhood level.

RiSE provides education, resources, support, and community to a cohort of place-based community leaders, interested in campaigning around causes in the realm of climate justice, racial equity, emergency preparedness and collective empowerment.

The cohort designates space for individuals whose leadership has been historically silenced or minimized by the mainstream environmental & sustainability sectors. This includes first and foremost BIPOC individuals, especially those at the intersection of LGBTQ+ identities, trans and non-binary identities, visible and/or invisible differences in physical ability, youth, Deaf and HoH, immigrant or refugee experiences, those who have experienced incarceration, low income, and other specific and formative experiences of being.
