As the Polar Pioneer sitting in Terminal 5 aptly demonstrates, the Seattle Port Commission holds significant power over the direction of our city’s working waterfront. Join us on June 29th for a non-partisan candidate forum to hear directly from Port of Seattle Commissioner candidates about how they will address pressing environmental and economic issues facing the Port including:
- Their vision for a working waterfront in the face of climate change impacts;
- Plans to ensure the Port of Seattle remains competitive with other west coast ports;
- Transparent government process;
- Duwamish River and superfund cleanup;
