Sustainable Seattle's 15th Anniversary Celebration was May 18, 2007 at Town Hall - Event photos and more information here!
Sustainable Seattle celebrated 15 years of pioneering sustainability in the Central Puget Sound area with a Gala at Town Hall on May 18, 2007.
The Honorable Ron Sims, King County Executive, opened the evening with a rousing speech.
A fabulous dinner of organic and local food was prepared by Chef Tom French, seen here introducing the menu within the broader context of sustainability.
Alan Atkisson talked, sang and kept the 230 attendees on their feet.
City of Seattle and Sustainable Seattle co-founder Steve Nicholas, Starbuck's (and former Sustainable Seattle Board Member) Ben Packard, Executive Director Chantal Stevens and Sustainable Seattle Board President Cynthia Figge (below) also spoke. The event was MC'd by KING 5 TV Gary Chittim.
The presentations can be viewed on a video filmed and edited by the Seattle Channel.
We remain grateful to our sponsors, presenters and volunteers for helping make the event a resounding success.
