Volunteering at Sustainable Seattle is a great way to get involved in your community, gain some experience in sustainability and work with wonderful people on challenging, fun and rewarding programs and projects. Sustainable Seattle’s volunteers are tomorrow leaders in sustainability. We always have the need for volunteers to work on our programs and projects.

Zero-Waste Team member at dB in the Park | Saturday, September 28
Join us at the 10th Annual Decibel Festival "dB in the Park" event in conjunction with Starborne Shows, taking place at the Broadway Performance Hall (home of dB Will Call/Ticketing and the dB Conference). This year's dB in the Park event will feature deejay performances from two of the West Coast's most respected house, deep house and nu disco artists (Poolside and Jeno) with support from Phidelity, Michael Manahan and Natural Magic. This FREE day-time event (11AM - 7PM) will also feature a yoga class, local food trucks, performance art, hammock lounge, free water station (compliments of Klean Kanteen), beverage garden (hosted by Innerflight and Sustainable Seattle) and premier KV2 Audio sound (provided by Starborne Sound). Volunteers will receive a ticket to Decibel Festival's Opening Gala at Chihuly Gardens with Milleece, an internationally acclaimed, multidisciplinary sonic artist and renewable energy ambassador. Her work ‘promoting ecology through technology and the arts’ has brought her international critical acclaim as a composer and installation artist. More about dB in the Park

Climate Change and the Bottom Line | Thursday, October 31
Come help at this afternoon conference for business, non-profit and government leaders from the Pacific Northwest who plan and implement risk mitigation in their organizations.
Availability: We are looking for dedicated individuals that are interested in a commitment of 3-20 hrs of work each week, depending on the position.
Benefits: These are unpaid positions. By joining us at Sustainable Seattle, you will be interacting with a devoted staff of volunteers, all seeking to make positive changes in the world. These are great opportunities to develop your skills (creativity is encouraged!), gain behind the scenes experience of a non-profit organization, while expressing your passion for sustainability. We can provide educational credit where applicable, references for future employment, and reimbursement for approved expenses relating to the position.
