Quarterly City Repair Gathering

Document Actions
Friends, Neighbors, Gardeners, Artists! It’s time to get together for potluck fun, world-changing conversation, and a little action in the streets. Everybody keeps saying they want to get their hands dirty. Well, here’s a great chance. 1-4pm WORK PARTY with Free the Trees Meet in front of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church at 7500 Greenwood Ave N. We’ll be helping the Free the Trees folks weed, mulch and otherwise improve the quality of life for the street trees on Greenwood Avenue from N 70th Street to N 80th Street. Bring your sunscreen, gloves, and weeding tools. Let’s beautify the neighborhood! 4:30pm CITY REPAIR POTLUCK - After the work party, we’ll gather on Marni and Aaron’s street to share food, tell stories, show pictures, and visit with other folks who are excited about City Repair action in Seattle. There’s a lot to talk about this quarter--a new placemaking grant awarded in Greenwood/Phinney, many exciting ideas in the works, and lots of opportunities to get involved, not to mention all you have been up to! RSVP if you can--it helps us plan the scope of work. Haven’t told us you are coming? Can’t stay the whole time? COME ANYWAY! We’ll still be happy to see you! Call ahead especially if you want to be a work party captain, help with event prep, or if you have a pickup truck that can help with the hauling! See you at the intersection!
