The Northwest Environmental Education Council cordially invites you to a screening of Chief Seattle. Come learn about the true origins of Seattle, who Chief Sealth really was and how the romantsized myth of his great speech has covered up the mistreatment of the Native peoples. Afterwards we will discuss ways we can address the errors of rapid modern "progress" and acknowledge the gifts that the Salish tribes have left us.
