Leadership and Sustainability
The journey towards ethical leadership in the workplace sometimes goes by other names, such as corporate social responsibility or profitable sustainability. Today's
innovative leaders seek economic opportunities at the intersection of technological innovation, social consciousness and environmental stewardship. This workshop will feature an inside view of how local leaders are creating valuesbased cultures and strategic systems to support profitable sustainability within their organizations. Led by Center for Ethical Leadership's Pat Hughes, the workshop will also offer time for participants to share lessons learned and strategize on their next steps toward sustainability.
Participants will learn:
• The Three Waves of Sustainability
• The critical incidents that led local pioneering leaders to embrace sustainability
• The unique characteristics of leadership for sustainability
• Frameworks and tools to develop a shared vision and engage change organization- wide
• How Core Values and Gracious Space can foster innovation
