Independence from Oil Day Parade

Document Actions
On July 3rd, we will converge on Volunteer park for a parade that celebrates renewable resources and innovative technologies that lessen our dependence on oil. Bring your biodiesel, your electric car, your hybrid, your bike, or your flip-flops and get in the parade line-up at 11:30. We’ll begin our parade through the city at noon. After the parade there will be informational tables, music, and more fun surprises. Bring a picnic or a BBQ! Councilmember Richard Conlin and other speakers at 2 pm. Proclaim your independence—and learn how you too can use less oil!
