City Repair Seattle Place-Making Workshop

Document Actions
Are you Inspired to create a gathering place on your block? Then grab a couple of your neighbors and take the City Repair Seattle PlaceMaking Workshop! This workshop is for small groups of neighbors who want to work together to create block-level do-it-yourself shared "places." Internationally renowned placemaker Milenko Matanovic will guide you and your neighbors as you explore your ideas together and begin collaborating on your design. Inspired by the City Repair Project of Portland, OR (www.cityrepair.org) and the work of the Pomegranate Center (www.pomegranate.org.), this event is sponsored by City Repair Seattle (www.cityrepair.info) and the Greenwood/Phinney Placemaking Alliance and funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund Award from the City of Seattle, Department of Neighborhoods. The workshop is free, but registration is required and space is limited!
