Environmental Film Festival
This year our Environmental Film Festival will be held in Seattle from March 30-April 1, 2007 on the University of Washington campus.
Tickets will be available through Brown Paper Tickets starting in February. The session themes are focused on climate change impacts, peak oil and 'relocalization', environmental justice, communicating about climate change, and local and regional climate solutions. We have received many interesting and well-made films. In fact, we have had to extend one of the sessions in order to accommodate as many as we can.
We also have a monthly Green Film series in partnership with 911 Media Arts Center http://www.hazelfilm.org/greenfilms.html). They take place on the first Friday of each month and are co-sponsored by the Seattle Sierra Club and/or others related to the film(s) topic. The films are followed by a panel discussion with experts and/or community activists in the particular field.
