Ann Burgund
Ann Burgund is
an Emmy Award-winning film producer for her work on the television series Sesame Street.
She was on staff for 5 years during which time she produced 80 films for the
show, most of them about nature and the environment. After working in Manhattan
for over 15 years as a writer, Ann moved to Los Angeles where she developed and
associate produced The Mask, a feature film starring Jim Carrey, which was among
the top three films at the box office in 1994.That year she moved to Seattle to
become head writer/editor for the Microsoft Office web site. She has worked as
a consultant for several content-rich, integrated media online projects. In
2001, Ann was hired as Content Specialist for CTB/McGraw-Hill where she headed
a team of renowned children’s authors who wrote stories for educational products.
Ann recently served as a consultant to National Geographic School Publishing
producing materials to address the high drop out rate in our nation’s high
schools. Ann has a BA in English and Comparative Literature from the University of Cincinnati.
